About Homecoming Psychotherapy

Homecoming Psychotherapy is a cooperative mental health practice based in Northampton, MA, founded by CJ, Lucy, and Emily. We met through our training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), and from the beginning, our shared commitment to integrity, depth, and transformative care made Homecoming feel inevitable.

We provide psychotherapy for individuals, relationships of all kinds, and groups, offering IFS-informed, relational, and embodied approaches to healing. Our work supports people navigating anxiety, trauma, identity, relationships, life transitions, and the quiet ache of feeling disconnected from oneself.

As a cooperative therapy practice, Homecoming is co-owned and collaboratively governed by its practitioners. We are rooted in equity and committed to challenging oppressive and extractive systems within mental health care. Through shared leadership, economic transparency, and collective resources, we cultivate non-hierarchical, liberatory spaces for healing—spaces that nourish both clients and clinicians.

At the heart of our work is a belief in each person’s innate wholeness. While the world often requires us to fragment ourselves in order to survive, therapy can be a place to gently lay down what was once necessary but no longer serves. Together, we make room to reclaim presence, authenticity, tenderness, and joy.

Homecoming is not something you earn—it is something you remember. Our role is to walk alongside you as you find your way home.
